A film manufacturer needed to replace their old turret unwind equipment with a newly built turret unwind. M.R. Snyder built control panels and provided programming services for the new system. Due to the short window, all the I/O checkout and functional verification were tested during the FAT prior to the shutdown which helped shorten the commissioning time.

- Provided the customer with an Avtron Profinet encoder for turret position.
- Replaced old unwind motors with Marathon BlackMax motors.
- Tuned and setup drives parameters for AB PowerFlex755/525.
- Utilized the existing AB GuardLogix controller to integrate the new equipment.
