MR Snyder has been instrumental with many key equipment upgrades at my employer. They are a vital asset to the success of the Engineering department as well as the Maintenance department. Recently Chris was involved in helping us work out the communications between a GE PLC and a Siemens G120 VFD. This was key for us to move forward with upgrades within the facility. We recently did an upgrade of a 30 year old machine with MR Snyder. This involved replacing  drives and then controlling them with a new AB PLC. We wanted to write the PLC program in house. MR Snyder were very cooperative and helpful, giving advice on how to communicate with the new drives. They also produced all the new drawings to a high standard and their installation of the new drives and I/O racks was exemplary. They remained on site during commissioning including the long process of setting up all of the drive PID loops. Our company contracted M.R. Snyder to design and build a PLC for our fuel system. Their professional engineering team worked around the clock to meet our deadline schedule and deliver the PLC unit on time. The fully automated fuel system design has evolved to work seamlessly with diesel engine electronic control   systems   built   to send and receive digital signals from diesel generators.  We were very satisfied with the quality of work, their ability to hold the schedule and good communication with their engineering crew keeping us advised about the learning curve and know-how. We requested M.R. Snyder to assist with the PLC unit testing in the actual field of use, and together we worked tirelessly to validate the results until we were fully satisfied. The entire staff is very friendly. It is a pleasure to work with a values-driven and Christian company. M. R.
